What Parents Say

"I love this place!! I was nervous about childcare because it was hard to find a place that I felt comfortable with but Adora is amazing. The staff always provides updates on my little and how she did that day and they are just wonderful! I feel at ease dropping my little off because I know she’s being well taken care of. Thank you all for everything you do!!!"   J. Tarala
"We could not be more happy with Adora! We recently moved here from another, much larger daycare in the area, and the difference is night & day. Classes are small, activities are planned and communicated to parents, and my daughter is clearly supported and loved. She is currently in the infant class, but is already doing daily art, Spanish, music, and sign language, and the curriculum for the older classes is something we are very excited about. I can’t say enough wonderful things about this place!"   A. Petralia
"We love adora. The parent portal makes it easy to communicate with teachers and get updates on how our baby’s day is going. I love that they give us a daily sheet letting us know how she did, what she did and if there is anything that we need to bring with us tomorrow. The teachers are all amazing, we absolutely love Miss Hannah, Miss Martha and Miss Brittnii. We highly recommend Adora!!" T Grejda

It takes a big heart to shape little minds.

When children play it’s more than simply ‘playing’.

During play children are learning valuable skills that include social, emotional, cognitive and physical development as well as building positive relationships. Research shows that play is important for a child’s overall development and we know that play is closely associated with the development of intellectual skills, thinking and motivation.

Library Partnership

Adora Childcare will take bi-weekly trips to library for children in our Early Preschool, Preschool and Pre-k classrooms. We have formed a partnership with the brand new Five Forks branch public library (next to our facility) which we will be able to offer story time at our facility for our infant and toddler classrooms. Reading with children from an early age helps them develop a solid foundation for literacy. Reading with your child: shows him or her that books can give both pleasure and information. It also helps them learn the sounds of letters in spoken language.

STEAM integration into our curriculum at an early age is important for your child’s future.

Laying the foundation for the development of science, technology, engineering, art, and math skills at the early childhood level is critical to helping students become successful at higher classroom levels. Our teachers provide various opportunities for children to be immersed in STEAM activities. Our specialized STEAM teacher gives the students another resource for STEAM related activities every day..

Nature is important to children’s development in every major way—intellectually, emotionally, socially, spiritually and physically.

Our classrooms allow children to have experience with natural materials in both our indoor and outdoor environments. Our teachers plan activities utilizing indoor and outdoor spaces. We rotate out materials frequently so children able to continuously keep their senses engaged.

Our onsite nutritionist prepares meals that are not only delicious, but nutritious..

Our menu meets USDA standards and incorporates the use of fresh fruits and vegetables on a daily basis. We are a peanut and pork free facility. We also offer vegetarian options to help meet all dietary needs. Our teachers also incorporate food education into their lesson plans to promote the importance of healthy eating and proper nutrition. We serve organic milk that is locally sourced. Happy Cow Creamery is a unique on-the-farm milk bottling operation offering high quality fresh milk directly from its own dairy cows.
