I am thrilled to have the opportunity at Adora Childcare to share my love for teaching and my passion about the importance of music and movement in the lives of young children. Through my early childhood music training in Kindermusik, Musikgarten and First Steps in Music curricula, I’ve learned how integral music is in stimulating the musical, emotional, intellectual, physical and social development of young children. My background as a music educator for nearly 35 years has been diverse with a scope of experience in preschools, daycares, public, private and IB schools. I have a Bachelors of Music Education and Level II certification from the Early Childhood Music and Movement Association with additional certificates in First Steps in Music, Orff Schulwerk, Health Rhythms and World Music Drumming training. One of my hobbies is West African drumming here in Greenville, and I also enjoy line dancing.
